Bank owned properties in the Eugene and Springfield area
It is a Winter wonderland this morning in the Eugene and Springfield area. It looks like the white stuff is here to stay for a while.
The number of bank forclosures, bank owned homes and short sale properties continue to increase in our area. Typically, banks will price homes that they have forclosed on extremely competitively in order to remove these properties from their books quickly. Short sales are homes for sale that the owner owes more money on than can be realized from a sale. In a short sale the bank agrees to take less for the home than is owed. These home can also be excellent opportunities for a buyer to purchase a home below market value. With mortgage interest rates at historic lows, it makes good sense to start thinking about a home purchase whether it is for a new personal residence or for investment.
If you would like to receive information on bank owned properties or short sale properties, please contact me. I put together a weekly list of these properties that I e-mail to interested buyers. I would be more than happy to add you to my list.
