Good Monday Morning! Just when we think that mortgage interest rates will never go any lower, they do just that. Last week saw mortgage interest rates drop to their lowest levels in history. 15 year conventional loans dipped well below the 3% level, sparking a new round of refinance activity. Many homeowners are on their second round of refinancing as rates continue their decline. For anyone considering a home purchase the lower rates are good news as well. Not only can more buyers now qualify for financing but with rates this low, payments are going to be much more affordable. As I have been saying for months, now is the time to jump if you are considering a home purchase. With home prices at the most affordable level in decades the combination with historic low interest rates create the perfect storm for home buyers. My advice, "don't wait", all good things must end.
